On April 17, 2010, the HEAL Cities Campaign co-hosted a policymaker breakfast with the City of Baldwin Park. The topic was No and Low Cost Policies to Improve Health Among Children 0-5 and Their Families. Elected officials and staff from the cities of Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bell Gardens, Duarte, El Monte, Huntington Park and South Gate attended the breakfast. Paul Simon, Director of Chronic Disease Prevention for the LA County Public Health Department, and staff of the California Center for Public Health Advocacy attended as well.
